‘Y Tu Mamá También’ Screening at Morelia Festival

Y Tu Mamá También had a special screening last night at the Morelia International Film Festival, which was attended by one of its protagonists, Diego Luna, writer Carlos Cuarón and Marco Antonio Solis, responsible by the theme song “Si No Te Hubieras Ido”.

Carlos remembered the film, that was directed by his brother Alfonso 16 years ago, in a political and social context different from the current one.

“Those who were teenagers at that time are now at Diego’s age, because the country has changed, and Y Tu Mamá También was also filmed under the government of Ernesto Zedillo, but we released it under the new ‘Mexican democracy’ with Fox, we spent 16 years in which we have walked back”, said Carlos quoting the word democracy with the fingers.
